RECENT FEEDBACK

“I have read and thoroughly enjoyed all the stories!” ~ Online Reader Sonshine Baskets

“Read The Value Of A Man. The wording and pace seems similar of the writing style of the Science Fiction author Andre Norton.” ~ Online Reader ideslestaa

“I enjoyed Secret Key … The Millennium will certainly be an interesting time.  You guys have spurred a lot of thought.  Thanks.  I appreciate the stories and they are fun.  But the greater value is the follow-up thoughts and scriptural considerations that cause me to ask, "What will it be like in those days?" ~ Pastor Doug Ford

What our test readers had to say about RECLAMATION by Jason Hileman

Reclamation kept my interest from the very beginning, as I tried to spiritualize each aspect of the story … It was a fun read!  I enjoyed it very much! (Brenda L. Maine)

An excellent short story. The author hooked me into a range of emotions that this man was experiencing. I also felt pulled into the environment which was effectively described, like I was sitting in a chair in the room with this man. I look forward to reading more from this author. (Lori C. Maine)

What a great read! I was immediately drawn in - wanting to know the answer to the initial question- Why? As I read, so many more images, memories, interactions threw more intriguing questions of “why” at me. I loved the imagery which brought out the mystery which made me long for a good resolution. This did all that while leaving me wanting more - in a good way!  Thanks for the great escape! I have never read anything from this perspective or time period. Great idea! (Vicki B. Virginia)

Jason is quite a good writer! Very smooth and comfortable to read. Thought-provoking plot. He builds a whole dystopian civilization that has the potential to be real. I want to hear more! It does leave the reader with a lot of questions, particularly if they haven’t thought much about the millennium and all it could entail. Perhaps that’s what you’re aiming for… It’s a narrow niche of people who have any understanding- or imagination- about life within a future 1000 year season. Perhaps this will peak interest? (Stephanie B. Maine)

I will tell you I am not much of a recreational reader. Never been. Something has to be good to keep my attention and this story did just that. I went through a few emotions while reading it and related to it. I am not much of a tablet reader but like to have a hardcover book in my hand. I read this on my phone. Loved the story. Renewed life is a wonderful gift from God. (Daryl W. Maine)

I found the short story very interesting. It didn't take me long to get hooked into the storyline. You really could feel like you were there on the mountain walking beside the old man. I was very curious where it was all going to next. Very good job. (Joan M. Maine)

I just read it. Very nice. Such a great snapshot of redemption. I really liked the Deborah scene. (Vicki M. Virginia)

I loved it. The characters were intriguing. The character of the embittered man hanging onto to grief until unconditional love persuaded him to move forward is beautiful. (Cordula C. Maine)

I found it very retrospecting of end times from a dispensational perspective. But I saw a very real redemptive aspect. (David P. Virginia)

Good stuff for sure… This story was AWESOME!

Thanks for sharing- made me cry. It can really be a hard thing to accept when we feel someone we loved and lost didn’t receive it. This makes too much sense and I have thought of this concept for years in regards to some unbelievers I know and love. (Natalie S. Maine)

… I like the title and how it was worked in. I also liked a lot of the physical descriptions of the protagonist's ailments. I could relate haha. that was highly relatable, especially after crawling through my attic to change a bathroom vent/light/ heater yesterday. I recommend Josh Brolin to play the part [of the main character] in the movie. (Toby M. Maine)

I really liked it! I was into the story & was looking forward to seeing how things finished. Thanks for letting me read it! (Kay W. Maine)
